Central Queensland isn't one environment, and equipment that's right for one part of our service area is wrong for another. A condenser specified for an inland Biloela property will corrode years early if it's installed 400 metres from the water at Tannum Sands. A system sized for coastal humidity is overkill inland where the dry-season swing is the real problem.
Three factors drive most of the difference across our patch:
- Coastal salt exposureDominant at Tannum Sands, Boyne Island, Agnes Water and Seventeen Seventy. Drives coated coils, corrosion-resistant mounting and careful outdoor unit placement.
- Industrial dustHeaviest through Gladstone itself. Loads filters and condensers faster than manufacturer service intervals assume, which changes the maintenance schedule we recommend.
- Inland temperature swingMore pronounced at Biloela and through the Banana Shire. Affects sizing and, for refrigeration, the duty the plant has to carry through the day.
A contractor driving up from Brisbane doesn't design for any of this. We've been repairing the consequences of it for decades.

Travel beyond the immediate Gladstone area is factored into the quote up front, so there's no surprise line item on the invoice for jobs at Biloela, Agnes Water or Rockhampton.
